I wonder if there is a way to quantify how much of my life I have spent watching cat videos, in preparation for this day! I am big lover of animals but cats have always appealed to me. Maybe it is because I love their lifestyle. To be free to wonder when they want, sleep for copious amounts of hours and if they are lucky enough to have good humans, unlimited cuddles. I envy the carefree nature of cats, but it isn’t always easy.
They’ll spend time hunting for their prey, stalking their prey. Their eyes have evolved to be perfect for when it is dusk or dawn, when birds and small creatures won’t be able to see as clearly. Scouting the area until they pounce on their unsuspecting victim! I hope in my next life I’m cat, that doesn’t sound half bad!
I love to explore new places and hope to inspire a furry critter to want to do the same. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has thought walking a cat is a little weird. Just needs to happen more and then there wouldn’t be this stigmatism. If he doesn’t become that sort of cat, then no worries, they tend to be independent creatures and I’ll eventually get a dog, I dream to have a Shiba Inu. So cute.
Not much of a post today as I have been preoccupied with Smudge! He is currently in the corner of my room, scared of all the new smells, sounds and people. Giving him the space he needs whilst playing relaxing cat sounds on Youtube. I think he’s fallen asleep, which is fair enough, this music is so soothing, I want to go sleep too.
Any others who are co-existing with some fluffy cuties? I would love to see pictures or hear about your experience as this is all new to me! Smudge is 7 months so not so young that he’s crazy but maybe it’ll take him a little longer to get adjusted. I wonder if anyone else has been through this out there!
Just had to show him off, thanks for reading.
Sending peace and love through the 4th Dimension!
